Amber, in some of my research, they have linked HS and skin cancer. Some research showed a possible link to other types of cancer as well. Perhaps your doctor is erring on the side of caution? They have not been able to definitively link cancer, or certain kinds of cancer, to HS, but this might be the reason that your doctor is concerned.

😞 I've been there. 😣 My heart goes out to both of you. I'm not entirely sure why the leaking, swelling lesions backed off. Treatment for the HS under my arms? 🤔 I still have the scars and periodically I will get some swelling and have to drain it out, but it's nothing like what it used to be. I will say, I have more problems with the HS when I don't wear a bra. I'm big busted and my breasts couldn't breathe. I stopped wearing wired bras and got the breathable platex ones. I kept 4x4 gauze bandages in my bra on the lesions and changed them frequently. I'm from Florida so I sweat horribly in the summer especially under my breasts! 🙄 I used white vinegar to neutralize the sweat and bacteria from it. Wearing a bra was excruciating, I know that pain! 😢 But staying home was not an option for me at the time and I had to lift the girls. 😒 I will still get a slight flare in the heat of summer if I don't keep myself seriously clean and dry. I'm always telling people to use white vinegar. I do this because it's cheap and easy to use and purchase. White vinegar helps neutralize bacteria and does not damage the good skin. You only smell like a pickle for a minute or two! 😂

I have this one too as well the one on my right boob wouldn't go away for nothing finally after wound care for months they started packing the holes on the ends with some sort of flakes and finally it went down it is still there but not really inflamed right now

U could use an old torn up 100% cotton tee , sheets , flannel ECT and change out and wash dry. This is more economical in the research I did and way more comfortable; u could use a period pad , as well !!! Men For You All Too ….
