Does Anyone Have Boils Fill Up With Blood Rather Than Pus?
I am finding a repeating pattern of having boils that go large and firm with pus and then go down and fill with blood. They don't ever burst but the skin is very thin and very painful. I'm also experiencing very large oval shaped boils which feel deep under the skin but never seem to surface. I just wondered if others experience anything like this?
Thanks so much for your responses Fatima and MrV, it's a relief to know this is somewhat normal 🤗 I can relate to MrV in that now mine rarely burst - they just swell very painfully. I need to put warm compresses on but I just struggle to dedicate the time to it. I will give it a go and see if it helps though. Hope everyone has a great week!
Hello MrV. I never get a boil that grow and don't burst. When I get a boil, when it starts to get red, itch, I bring out the Hot water and bleach. The boil burst right then or the next day. If the boil itch, I do the same. The Hot water and bleach take away the pain, soreness, itching and the swelling.
Yes, I also have boils filled with blood. Very deep feeling ones.
It's a cycle, they can have different material inside at first and then end up swelling up again with blood.
All kinds of different ones as a matter of fact.
Sometimes it's pus, sometimes blood, sometimes sebaceous, sometimes solid. Sometimes they burst which is the best in this dire situation as at least you have temporary relief from the pressure and of course we don't want the condition but unfortunately we have to live with it so consider it the best of a bad scenario.
The ones that grow and don't burst, they are extremely infuriating.
Sometimes I get ones which are extremely itchy. You scratch and scratch but can never satisfy the itch as it feels so deep.
Yes I get this sometimes too. Had one that burst yesterday and it bled for 8 hours! Feels soooo much better now though!
Mine in the groin and butt area swell and burst and bleed something serious. I buy EMU cream from Walgreens, stop the itching, decrease the boil and pus and blood. My doctor has never offered to suggest anything or offer deep conversations. I learned on my own by researching online.
