I started it in August… I got the “Humira hangover” where I felt completely drained the next day… not tired… but just drained… it went away after a few months… I got cellulitis in December then got sick so I had to miss a few doses… and everything got so much worse from there… my doc increased the dose and it didn’t help at all… I feel like I’m worse now than when I started. And had to stop taking Humira last month… Currently just started Cosentix- which was recently FDA approved to treat HS and seems to have better results than Humira. But I’ve heard people have great success for Humira, just not me haha good luck!

I started a few months back. Helped apt with new flares but takes a few months to help with preventing new ones I added aldactone onto my treatment plan and it’s been doing me really good!

@A myHSteam Member thank you for the reply, I had an appointment with dermatology Monday and they have decided that it’s the last option for me to try before they decide to do surgery to remove the glands. They gave me antibiotics and I had an allergic reaction to them so I’m keeping everything crossed that these injections work for me. Xx

I had replied and apparently it got erased or something I don't know LOL I just started it a week ago I had to do a double dose. Tomorrow I do my second dose. The first two days after my first dose I was knocked out totally asleep. I'm hoping it doesn't do the same tomorrow. Seeing as it's just one dose instead of two. I have noticed a change I was having a flare up at the time and it has lessened and gone away a little quicker than it normally does maybe it's just my imagination I don't know but fingers crossed it works and I hope it works for you too honey.

I just started Humira last week. The first couple of days knocked me on my ass I slept the whole time. I'm due for my second shot tomorrow. I'm hoping it's not going to knock me out for a full day again. But I have noticed a difference because I was having a flare up when I gave myself a first shot it has gone away quicker than they normally do. So fingers crossed it works. I hope it works for you too sweetie.
