A million different pillows of different sizes and a heating pad with a timer setting. My side of the bed looks like some weird nest with me carefully placed within it so nothing painful presses too hard. Also thc gummies for when nothing else works.

Managing sleep with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) pain can be challenging. Here are some strategies from the knowledge base to help you get better rest:

1. Sleep With Your Arms Overhead: If you have HS pain in your armpits or around your breasts, try sleeping with your arms overhead to reduce pain and irritation.

2. Protect Your Skin: Use soft paper towels, wound tape, or specialized dressings like HidraWear to create a barrier between wounds and clothing. Menstrual and nursing pads can also be used as bandages.

3. Practice Good Sleep Hygiene:
- Stick to a consistent bedtime and wake-up time.
- Develop a nightly routine and take pain medication early enough to be effective by bedtime.
- Keep your bedroom cool (around 65 degrees Fahrenheit) to reduce inflammation.
- Lower the lights and consider wearing blue light-blocking glasses before bed.
- Exercise regularly but avoid vigorous activity close to bedtime.
- If you wake up and can't get back to sleep, get up and do something quiet until you feel sleepy again.

4. Consider Sleep Medications: Some people with severe HS pain find that sleep medications help them rest better.

5. Seek Professional Advice: Contact your dermatologist or healthcare professional for personalized pain relief strategies and additional sleep aids.

These steps can help improve your sleep quality despite the discomfort caused by HS.
