I Have This Maybe A Cyst On My Armpit, That It Flares Up When It Wants To. I Wash It Good And Put Some Clyndimacin And Gauze But It Doesn't

Seem like it's working. Is there anything else i could use. I don't see my new dermatologist until February. Since I'm on Medicaid I can't see a doctor about this. Does anyone else have to wait months to see a dermatologist? TIA 🙂

It sounds like you might be dealing with a recurring armpit cyst, which could be related to hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Here are some steps you can take based on my knowledge base:

- Watchful Waiting: Monitor the cyst over a few days to see if it improves or worsens.
- Warm Compresses: Apply warm compresses to the area to relieve discomfort.
- NSAIDs: Consider using over-the-counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to reduce inflammation and pain.
- Topical Antibacterial Cream: Continue using topical antibacterial cream, but ensure the area is kept clean and dry.
- Sterile Bandage: Wrap the area with a sterile bandage to reduce friction and irritation.

When to See a Doctor:
- If the cyst persists for more than a few days, you may need prescription medication.
- If you develop a fever or other signs of illness, seek medical attention immediately.
- If this is not your first cyst, you may have a chronic condition like HS, which requires long-term treatment.

For more personalized advice, it's best to consult with a healthcare provider.
