What Do Y’all Put On Open And/or Closed Wounds?

A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭
Richmond, VA

I have 7 flares in my groin area and they feel like they’re on fire. I haven’t been able to sit or walk for a week now. The skin seem a little raw and irritated since I used essential tea tree and peppermint oil on them. Even when I try to wipes the wound with aloe and witch hazel wipes they start to burn. Neosporin pain gave a a burning sensation as well.

I put equaphor on it with non stick bandages and manuka honey bandages they are non stick and pulls out all of the drainage they ate water resistant and can stay on least a week. If a your experiencing a lot of drainage change them daily before you shower or bath

If it’s irritation just on the skin surface use preparation H. It will moisturize the dried out skin and reduce inflammation. Benadryl antiseptic lotion is another, lidocaine spray is another.

Put some preparation h on it to ease the irritation. Don’t do the nutmeg til all irritation gone.
