It seems alot of people on this site are trying to figure out what foods trigger a HS outbreak for them and this is definitely a good thing because if the Drs and researcher's can't figure this HS out then why not try to figure it out for our selves. With that being said we all just celebrated Thanksgiving so who all took a gamble and ate something they suspected might be a trigger food for them? Well I know I sure did I said to hell with it and ate whatever I wanted and enjoyed it too so if my… read more

Dairy mainly gives me severe seborrhea within 2 days. But it might be from blood sugar. Maybe if I fasted all day and ate one piece of cheese I’d be ok??? Usually if I’m eating lots of cheese ?I’m also doing something else at same time to spike blood sugar. Saturated fat combines with carbs gonna jack my blood sugar real high. I usually fall for a cheese bender when everyone opens the corks on the wine bottles at some social. Well, there goes my blood sugar. I’m like you Bonbon. Sometimes I get away with it if I’ve been real good prior.

Oh I will say this though. I think diet did make my boil not close and heal. Seems if my blood sugar spiked my bump swelled up. But hygiene was the biggest positive factor that worked and keeping bandaged and dressings changed Constantly. So hygiene is 1st priority followed by diet.

Yes Kelly, I've bought those ones that come in a box and it's round like an orange and in sections. They are awesome. I also have a friend that had a divorce party, and he bought a chocolate fountain, then cut up fruit and you just let the chocolate run over each piece....I believe chocolate goes with any fruit! The chocolate fountain would be followed in a couple days by and HS crying party!

Yes I do like dark chocolate too, but it's acidic and bothers my tongue. That sounds good, the orange with cocoa! I just started that Body FX exercise disc, it's like dancing exercise. I am so uncoordinated that it gets me laughing because I can't keep up.... I think I will set a reward for losing so many pounds! Is there such a thing as dark belgium chocolate. I have a friend on there that gets belgium chocolate chips....never heard of them here, she lives in USA. Makes me want to make chocolate chip cookies with belgium chocolate....omg can you imagine!
