Does Rubbing Of The Skin Cause A Flare Up?

A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭
Savannah, GA

I had a bra that had a wire that was rubbing my underarm all day, by the next morning, in the exact spot, there was a cyst so bad I can't put my arm down. Is this common? Does this happen to anyone else?

I quit wearing underwire years ago. Now I don't wear one at all. I'll wear tank tops under shirts to go out.

I have F cup bras, so no bra is unfortunately not an option for me. I have tried sports bras but they also make me compressed or give me what they call "uniboob" and they're hard to wear professional tops with. I think I'm going to look into some of the other options presented here.
