Hey Baz , good morning !! Just wanted to ask if you saw your surgeon under the nhs or privately ? I’m going to try and get this referral started.

Ohh , I understand completely. The area was quite big I’ve got both armpits operated on. And part of my groin operated on. I have two massive scars under my armpits. My groin healed very well the surgeon did a good job. I don’t want to scare you , it was very difficult moving around for me , using the bathroom and sitting. But it looks so much better than it did! I’m trying to get the areas of my groin still affected operated on. But it’s been a massive struggle with the surgeons.

I understand why you feel nervous, I
felt the same way. Ask as many questions as you need to with your surgeon and have a deep think.

The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota has an HS specialist and and HS surgeon. Seeing them in April and hope to be able to pass some good info along. Kind of just want to get mine cut out with surgery. I’m newly stage 2. Just started tunneling. I’m scared of possibly needing a skin graft.
