It’s just so frustrating how uneducated they are. And how common it actually is

Yes 🙌 I know believe it or not I have even got information saying that we educate the doctors 🤣 but do you know what that is the truth of the matter even my nurse 👩‍⚕️ said to me you know more about HS than we do and believe it or not I have had the doctors admit that they don’t know enough about HS so there is your problem and that is why they don’t want to give you certain things because they don’t know if they are doing the right thing or wrong thing 🤔 🤣👍
That is why you need a specialist who deals with HS 👍

👋 amber unfortunately to say this but the doctors don’t know enough about HS the scientists 👨‍🔬 are still working on it and they only know so much about HS so you need to see a dermatologist and try and find one ☝️ who has dealings with HS as well because you could get the same problem as what I had and it took several dermatologists and years as well luckily I found one ☝️ in the end who knew what it was and put me in touch with a surgeon 👨‍⚕️ who has dealt with HS 1000’s of times before and he done the operation on me and he has got more work to do on me yet it took me over 10 years plus to get mine done and I know how frustrating it is so that is what I can advise you and if it gets worse then go back to the hospital and they will have to drain it but they don’t seem to want to do that for some reason same thing happened to me it’s a hard battle with them but I won in the end they had no choice in the matter and I was not going to back down 👍

Thank you my doctors are useless with this. I was sent to Coventry with one flare up they put me on nearly triple the dose of antibiotics and for a lot longer than the usual 5 days. Had it for years but it’s taken nearly 5 just to get referred to the dermatologist for them to diagnose it after I told the gp what it was. And now waiting for the hospital.

See if you can get your doctor 👨‍⚕️ to give you some of these antibiotics but they don’t just kill the good bacteria 🦠 they kill the bad bacteria as well but they are very good 👇👇
