So there is laser hair removal treatment and CO2 Laser treatment. I have heard that laser hair removal treatment is a preventative measure to hopefully reduce the occurrence in areas. If I knew this research 15 years ago before I got to stage 3/4 then would’ve done it. CO2 laser surgery, which I’ve done 3xs in different areas for my stage 3/4 HS and has had success. I plan to have it done 2xs more for four more areas. It is also one to have to be paid out of pocket due to insurance not coding yet for HS. It removes the skin and “burns” the tunnels for them to heal and new skin to grow. I would recommend a dermatologist who specializes in doing this. I went to Dr. Resnik in Aventura Fl and Dr Hazen in Westlake OH. You type them in google and they will come up. Hope this helps.

I'm currently undergoing laser treatments and so far, it has helped prevent new lesions from forming. I am still getting some flare ups, but they are from my old lesions. I am on my seventh treatment, but I am pleased so far with the results.
