Male Underwear...
I wonder if anyone can advise the best type of male underwear when suffering from HS in the groin and perianal.
I'm currently wearing Step One bamboo boxers... not sure if these assist and I wonder if cotton boxers or a more Speedo-type shape.

Not a man BUT I only wear boxer briefs. I just wear the cotton Hanes and I would avoid any type of underwear ( speedo ) that have the inseam anywear near where you get flares, groin, upper thigh crease, etc. Switching hasn't stopped them, but my underwear aren't a cause of flares anymore. I made the change and absolutely will not go back to thongs, boy shorts or lacey things again. š
I have been very happy with the bamboo boxers and in general far comfier. The question came due to a flare-up and the frustration of HS in general. I can't recommend these bamboo boxers more highly, for men and women, take a look https://uk.stepone.life/
