Try some bacitracin ointment. It's cheap on Amazon. But it is over the counter. I don't have insurance so I have to make do with what I can get that is not prescription. Bacitracin helps tremendously.

Actually do no one but I don't talk to them anymore and I was just asking if there was anybody in the group that was a compounder and they could answer the question it was just really straight basic question about the reason why we just can't go like having a history of it in our why we just can't have an open prescription to it that's what I'm trying to say what's in it that causes it to be not over the counter

Cand, The only idea I have on it is go to a pharmacy that creates compounds. Still though you have to have a script. But, like you say the pharmacy could put in the request. If CVS won't work cuz of small town politics search for other pharmacies that do compounds. I had an ear problem once, and only a compound worked on it. Have a good afternoon.
