My daughter, who also has HS, said Humira worked well for her HS but darn near killed her because she had unknown histoplasmosis. After 4 trips to emergency, the real diagnosis was finally made and treated. So, if a person has ANY underlying health issues, have them addressed by more than one doctor. before taking Humira.

Sorry, this is just Trina Howard again. I think I went ahead and pushed myself to the exact 8 month mark with the Humira. For many people, it works well. They sent me another month, but I didn't take it. Just be cautious and read ALL of the side effects. I know I quit taking it February 10th this year and the psoriasis was showing up not a month later. And I meant h.s. is an inflammatory disease where psoriasis is an autoimmune disease and also has no cure. Did not mean to get on my bandwagon about it. Best wishes and sending prayers 🙏 your way

I have tried Humira. I was on it for 7 months. At first, no troubles. Then, at the 6 and a half and 7 month ‼️ mark, I got 2 staphylococcus infections back to back and was so..... sick. I had to take myself off of it. Less than a month later, I developed psoriasis on my hands and feet. Humira supposed to treat psoriasis, but in some people can cause it. So, I went from having an antiinflammatory disease to a autoimmune disease. The TNF inhibitor in the drug can cause this to happen.
