Hi So I Currently Have A Horrible Itching/burning Sensation, Does Anyone Know A Way To Make It Less Painful?
I am already taking antibiotics and pain killers to no avail. And it's to the point of tears and if anyone has any tips please I'm all ears
I had surgery on armpits and groin 30 years ago and its come back in same places as well as others. The ONLY relief I get is wasing with Panoxyl liquid soap everyday and Cleocin lotion every day after shower.
I have a jar of stuff called EmuAid Max. It is quite pricey, as I have to order it out of the US, but it sure works for me!! Hope you can get some relief!
Mine would be so painful before the outbreak popped & drained- I use a finger cot (cut the fingers off vinyl medical gloves; buy a box- in the long run, WAY cheaper than just buying finger cots!) and gently tap on DMSO cream (peel off the cot inside-out when done). DMSO is a carrier, meaning it gets thru the skin barrier and can carry other substances with it (INCLUDING any meds, cream or lotion, so make sure the affected area is clean first- people can get an itchy reaction if using DMSO over another treatment. I have sensitive skin, and learned that the hard way- the DMSO by itself gives me NO itchy reaction).
Also high in O, Oxygen, which is part of the cream, is what helps the skin fight the infection, gather it up & PUSH IT OUT; burst the pustule- reason why Hydrogen PerOXIDE (oxygen) is a disinfectant). The DMSO cream (found in some health food stores and if you can't find it locally, I get it from the big online store that starts with A) gives a welcome cooling relief to the burning painful spots- lightly cover with an absorbent pad (monthlies are great) and I swear, it brings the pustules to drainage state WITHIN 2 DAYS. What a relief!
Once the pustules have opened and drained, I use my Tea Tree products for daily maintenance.
That's where I am right now- maintenance and no outbreaks.
I wish you luck.π
