When the burning and pain gets pretty bad I use Medline Remedy Olivamine Calazime. It's a skin protectant paste. It has a kind of cooling sensation to calm down your irritation and also it's thick paste to help with the rubbing of the skin. It's a temporary solution but it does help me when I'm hurting really bad. I try not to rely on ibuprofen and other pain pills. So this is my go to topical. I purchased on Amazon. It's what they use in nursing homes for the bed sores.
