Local Anaesthetic And Lesions

I’ve been informed by surgeons that the lesions create an acid that stops the local anaesthetic from working properly and so it feels like they’re cutting through untreated skin. What alternatives are there for skin numbing if local anaesthesia doesn’t work effectively?

I had one removed and didn't feel a thing with local. I would fond a different provider.
