So have I - shaved for years then BAM!

I can't speak to what may have caused it for me, but I have been trimming down there longer than I have had HS flareups.

I have used a hair trimmer on the area where pubic hair grows, but not on the direct area where my breakouts are, which is between area where thigh meets groin. I have read shaving HS areas is not recommended.

Hey guys, i occasionally trim the groin because the hair itself can be an irritant for some people depending on texture, what i find is i get ingrown hairs, which are painful to a degree but it can help with hygiene at times, what usually happens to me is over time the hair stops growing period do to scarring from hs, but its hard to know the difference between hs and an ingrown hair, so now in sensitive areas i try not to trim too close to the skin and just leave some hair there at a certain length, hibicleans should help that area as well it does for me because obviously keeping it super clean is a good thing when it comes to hs.
