A myHSteam Member asked a question ๐Ÿ’ญ

Sometimes I'm checking on how things are trucking along with my HS, and I go to have a look -

"Hello, HS, my nemesis, that neighbour I begrudge, how are you doing? Ah, all dormant and not a thing I have to do anything with at this moment. Excellent. It wasn't a pleasure seeing you but I accept this temporary truce. Good day, sir."

And then, despite having handled the whole situation in a sanitary and none confrontational manner, everything in that area is like,

I agree with AmberWright - I have developed certain routines to avoid touching and irritating skin - All my own invention - I comes out shower and literally sit on a towel, use another to gently pat dry or just air dry . My best friends are sudocrem, talc, daktacort cream, micropore tape, cotton wool circles. The glamour never stops but until Iโ€™ve done my lotion and potion routine I canโ€™t relax and get on with my cappuccino made with whole beans - itโ€™s the little things that keep me happy ๐Ÿ˜Š. All good thoughts and wishes to those in the same boat as me. For decades I thought I was travelling this journey solo. Now I find a whole flotilla of wise travellers sharing tips. Take care ๐Ÿ’ซ

I feel your pain. My mine is called Walter. He is a mean ass neighbor I build a fence he takes it down. Id build a wall but I'm afraid of the consequences. Don't touch. I know it's hard.

AmberWright - Thank you so much, I'm genuinely relieved someone else has terrible neighbours. ๐Ÿ’— I'm not sure how well cussing is tolerated on this platform, but (to put it mildly) Walter can jog on! ๐Ÿ–• Much love in your direction.

Lexie2 - Thank you too, that's some excellent advice. Although I know Sudacrem seems to do me no favours with my HS (everywhere else it's a magic cream and I'm never without it!), you've given me some new ideas to scribble down on my increasing list of things to try. ๐Ÿ’ž I also know what you mean, I signed up to MyHS on a frustrated whim and I have been floored by the positive effect it's had on my ability to cope with everything that's going on. Much love in your direction.
