This is excellent feedback. Zoom meetings would be a great platform for HS sufferers to get together especially as we are in different countries/time zones etc but with zoom various meetings can be scheduled to make it as convenient as possible so as many people as possible can join in.

Yes, there are several ways to get involved in events for HS sufferers to meet up, raise awareness, and support each other:

- Participate in Awareness Activities: You can join activities dedicated to HS awareness, such as walks, runs, bingo games, silent auctions, or fundraisers. These events help raise awareness and funds for HS while allowing you to connect with others.

- HS Awareness Week: Hidradenitis Suppurativa Awareness Week takes place in June. This is a great time to participate in or organize events to raise awareness about HS.

- Join Online Communities: Platforms like myHSteam have over 24,000 members who share their experiences, ask questions, and give advice. This can be a good starting point to find or organize local meet-ups.

- Social Media: Use relevant hashtags like #HS, #HidradenitisSuppurativa, and #HSAwareness to spread the word and connect with others interested in raising awareness.

- Donate to Research: If you are able, consider donating to the HS Foundation to support research and advocacy. Staying informed about their activities can also help you find events to participate in.

If there aren't any events in your area, you can certainly take the initiative to create one. Start by connecting with others in online communities and social media to gauge interest and gather support.
