Ointments, Gels, Or Pastes For HS Flares?

I’ve a new flare, and I’ve washed the area, but I’m looking at medihoney to help speed healing. It comes in so many formulations. What has been your experiences with paste, ointments, patch, and gel applications?

So much to learn, it feels a lot overwhelming.

Boil Ease will help with pain and bring it to a head and a tarry black stuff called icktamol, that's not the right spelling, but that's how you pronounce it.
