So Im Suspected To Have HS. I've Got 1 Boil Under My Arm That Hasn't Stopped Draining For Like A Week And Another One Showed Up Yesterday

It hurts so bad yall, they're swollen and I don't even know how the second one popped up. I'm allergic to the adhesive on bandaids and medical tape and I don't know how to keep bandaids on my arm without tape. Any tips on wrapping an armpit? I can't even lift my arm without being in pain.

You can use a feminine pad as a bandage. You can even use the sticky side on the armpit area of your shirt so it just rests in your armpit to absorb the drainage. Then you don’t have to adhere anything to your skin. They make ones that are super thin, almost foam like ( always infinity brand). Using an antibacterial wash can help with HS, there are several types to choose from, Hibiclense and CLn are two options. Ibuprofen should help some with pain and is anti inflammation, but it doesn’t get rid of the pain, does help though. Some people on here find Vicks vapor rub soothing for boils and it’s even supposed to help bring them to a head. I find this diaper rash ointment to be soothing and feel it helps healing as well, it’s called Calmoseptine. Best wishes to you and hope you get some relief soon.

I had the same problem a little challenging in armpit. I’ve used the feminine pads but I have found if you use surgical pads and this waterproof bandage it doesn’t hurt and it stays all day pretty well

In the uk we have silicone dressing called biatane , I wasn’t allergic to the adhesive dressing but my body was getting irritated by them causing little blisters, after having them on for about a month, but since I changed over I haven’t had a reaction and been 4 months now.

If there is a Walgreens near you they have it. At least where I live.
