If an antibiotic treatment has worked well for you, how long term can you stay on them? Eg they usually do a 2 month treatment, how long can they keep you on them beyond that?

I have stage 3 HS. I’ve been on Cosentyx for almost 2 months and it’s slowly working.

They seem to work best for milder HS, otherwise people advance to other treatments like biologics (of which lots of new ones are due to be approved!)

They can keep you on them for years if they're working for you. I have spoken to several people who have controlled their HS by doxy, lymecycline or other antibiotics for years (some like 8 years!)
