Doxycycline

A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭
Bradford england

So I have been on doxycycline for a long time , also been agoraphobic for almost 5 years and recently started therapy but since then I have completely forgot about the doxycycline and not taken them for about 3 weeks now . I am wondering if I should just start taking them again or phone doctors and speak with them about it first

Hello. I'm on doxy and agoraphobic as well. Going on 8 years! This sucks. I want to stop doxy cuz it no longer seems to work. My suggestion is if it's no flaring up while off doxy don't take it. You're probably immune to it now after being in it so long. Good luck hun.

I mean if you’ve not taken them for so long and not seen a change in yourself, then perhaps they’ve not been been working for you for a while, I’d recommend calling you doctor though.
I’m on doxy and spironlactone and don’t seem to be helping me, but I’m being good and doing the full 3 months trial my dermatologist requested, but I’ve had 3 flare up since taking t(em , one resulting in surgery and been on them since beginning of April.
