The hot flushes are symptoms of hs too, your body is fighting an infection so we feel tired and feverish
Baths with bath salts such as Epsom salts are really good at drawing out the inflammation. Rest and let your body process this, it takes time. I have what you have. The first time I went the th hospital and got it lanced. The second time I did not want to go back to hospital so it took a little longer but it did drain naturally on its own. Both times I needed nurses to attend to the wound so it heals correctly. I still suffer with these scars flaring up but only mildly. Be careful with sitting down - I know you probably can’t right now it’s so painful. Love to everyone suffering
Thanks for the reply, ended up in hospital for 5 days, they had to drain it as it wasn't breaking, can't say this was a fun experience
Sitting in hot water, or as hot as you can stand it, should help somewhat. It usually helps draw the shit out . I actually just dealt with one last week there. Sorry, and I feel your pain. It's a new area for me, and very uncomfortable especially at work !
Hi Shane, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about your current flare-up. Here are some tips that might help:
- Pain Relief: Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen can help, but make sure you're not exceeding the recommended dosage
- Warm Compresses: Applying a warm, wet cloth to the affected area can soothe pain Show Full Answer
