Does Anyone Have Any Experience With Cosentyx As A Treatment?
I was on humira for a few months seemed to work decently. Then got switched to the biosimilar because insurance obviously and my dermatologist has agreed today that it does not seem effective so I'm doing the onboarding doses of cosentyx the next couple weeks hoping for improvement and insurance approval if everything goes well
I was on Humira and honestly i seen zero improvement, actually i think it made my skin in general get worse ( not specifically hs) im prescribed concetex but haven't started it due to delays because of other health/surgery
I have been on Cosentyx for 2 months and really think it has made a huge difference. No new breakouts so far. Humira didn’t work for me either. My insurance is not wanting to pay for it but the Dr office has had enough samples for me while we keep fighting the insurance company. Good luck.
Coda I'm on Humira as well and I swear it is getting worse! I've been on it for over 7 months now and I've had the worst flare up I've ever had in my entire life. I was in so much pain I literally wanted to die. And of course the doctors couldn't see me they told me to take pictures SMH in the ER doctors don't know what they're doing and they don't want to give out pain meds. So it's a waste of time doing that. I hope things go better for you and you find the right medication mixture. I'm still in the process of doing that.
Also, if you need help paying for it, the back office should help you get a grant for Cosentyx. If not, you can contact the mfg in they can help you get a grant to pay for it all. Hope this helps! Good luck!
AndrewGlover, I’ve been on Cosentxy for about 6 going on 7 months and my lesions are pretty much gone. I highly recommend Cosentxy!!
