Since I was diagnosed with HS I’ve noticed a smells that too me is a horrible smell under my armpit, yes I know maybe sweat could be involved but it’s not that kinda smell. I shower 3-5 times a day just so It’s clean and doesn’t smell. Can anyone recommend me something to help with this if you’ve had it.

I've done the 3 showers a day, tried all manner of things to take away the stench I can categorically smell. My husband says he can't smell it, My Mum & Dad say they can't smell it, but I know I can. It's awful. It stops me in my tracks when I catch a whiff of myself. It isn't in our heads, it's a very real and pungent smell. We may just have a more heightened awareness of it. I HAVE used witch hazel, and find I smell of that instead.... Which can't be bad I suppose. I'd rather smell 'clinical' than foul, fousty, and bloody ANY day. x

Use Hibiclense. You get it at Walmart.

HS has a smell. Well mine does too... it constantly seeps too. That’s where the smell comes from. No amount of showering takes it away.

Tea tree oil oregano soap but the most helpful is getting those areas treated with silver nitrate. It hurts terribly but it cauterize the flesh in the tract the smell goes goes away and the leaking nearly stops almost completely.

Hi, I have found out when I leave a lot of hair there the hair carries the smell, when I shave it smells like 80% better. Also I found Witch-Hazel!!! They come in a plastic container you can get some put them in your purse 👛 use them thru out the day.🙃Hope this helps.
