I heard a heating pad was really useful. Warm baths with pure epsom salt soaking solution. I wouldn’t recommend warm compresses to the area because cysts/boils like the wetness. Antibacterial soap wash for the areas. Loose clothing is a must! I also finally found non stick pads “hurt-free” band aids in a green box, which doesn’t stick to the area, in my experience. And what you eat matters.

Agree, Lidocane (4%) and taking 800 mg ibu and 1000 mg tylenol at the same time can be helpful too!

Hi..Using lidocaine has somewhat helped me with the pain. I completley cover the area with the cream, gently rubbing in light circular motions extending the cream just beyond the edge a little. I don't cover it and let the medication dry. I only cover them when they are leaking.
