Linda, I am 100% agreeing with you. I saw all of the side effects of Humira but I know those side effects would not effect everyone. Some people for example: would get a stroke or heart attacks or convulsions anyway without being on the medicine. The only side effect I get is headaches but I get Migraines anyway. Yes take precautions.😀

Just because side effects are listed doesn’t mean you will get them. Legally they have to list them to avoid lawsuit. Some side effects will be listed that it will say you are likely to actually get and others will be listed as side affects people rarely get or that it is inconclusive in studies that the side effect symptom was even caused by the drug. I’m like you. I’m cautious about commonly proven side effects. I may still try it if I’m out of options but I research like you do. It’s worth it to take these precautions,

I have had no other treatment and have been on Cosentyx for 5 weeks. I've noticed a 10-15% decrease in drainage, but no change in itch or pain. I am still hopeful that in a few months I may have notable improvement.
