Are you looking for information on how sweat gland removal can help with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS)?

Sweat gland removal can be a treatment option for HS, particularly when other treatments haven't been effective. Here are some key points:

- Types of Sweat Glands: Eccrine glands are found all over the body and help with cooling, while apocrine glands are found in areas like the underarms and groin and are more involved in HS.
- HS and Sweat Glands: HS occurs when hair follicles become clogged, often involving apocrine glands.
- Surgery: Sweat gland removal can help reduce HS symptoms, but it comes with risks like bruising, soreness, scarring, and loss of sensation.

Always consult with your doctor to discuss if this treatment is suitable for you. For more detailed information, you can visit the article [here](https://www.myHSteam.com/resources/sweat-gland-...).
