Hey there.....I've had HS in my groin for over 40 yrs! Most recently I bandage with cloth bandages (Bandaid brand or Elastoplast) and gauze. I have used Prid and Gotu drawing salves, and sometimes Billy Bee runny honey! Surprising how well it heals! Right now I have no active HS....I am on a diet almost the same as Keto except I don't have much dairy. I think it works because it no sugar or sweets, and no carbs. Potatoes, rices, pasta and breads all have carbs, and they turn into sugar when your body is processing them. Pretty awesome having no HS! Hugs

Just grin and bare it honestly. But I feel your pain and know just how intense the flares can be .

BMarie......I know there are others that the diet works for as well.....I substitute cauliflower rice which you can make or buy, and cabbage fried in butter which I pack in individual portions and freeze. My normal drinks are soda water and I buy those Mio type flavours....they have lots of great ones...coconut, mango, peach etc. If you want a cocktail, liquor has no carbs and you can mix with soda and flavour. If you have a sweet tooth there are lots of great recipes. I use Splenda white sugar, they also make a brown sugar, and there is another company that makes icing sugar. You will LOVE having no HS....I hope you can try!! Best of luck...Hugs!
