Tattoos. Yes? No? Why?

A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

I personally love tattoos, but now that I’m starting to get flares in parts of my body I never expected, I want them more to hide everything. But I can’t get them because money and flares….or scarred skin that can’t be tattooed on until fully healed. I’ve had one on the outside of my arm….my calf….my inner thigh is occasional, but it’s been YEARS
I’m so damn frustrated, because I know what I want and where and knowing I can’t because of this damn disease just irritates the hell out of me 🤬😭

Also! 😉 I have SLE lupus and don't heal well and I still get my ink. I'm just very careful about it.

Folks! I love my ink! 😉 I was just inked again about a week ago. However! Do not ink an area that is prone to HS! You could get an infection that could become deadly. 😲

That’s SUPER good to know. My bff does tattoo’s and will tattoo me. I also will be getting a gun with ink so I can do my own body, too. That’s an amazing idea. Thank you!
