You are much, much more than what this disorder makes you feel to be! You’re more than the rude comments or weird looks from people who don’t understand, you’re more than just pain and discomfort, you’re more than worthy of love and understanding as you tussle with your body. Take care of your mental as much as you do your body and give yourself some grace.

Take a long hard look at your gut health and get tested for nutrient deficiencies. Make changes to diet (follow an anti inflammatory diet). Supplement as necessary. Eat only whole foods/no packets, reduce carbs/eliminate sugar make sure you are not sensitive to dairy before including it in your diet. Look at gluten too. Also try and incorporate time restricted eating. Reduce stress and get plenty of good sleep. It can all make a MASSIVE difference.
