I have never taken anything for pain either. Not to minimize your pain at all, but I chose to ignore my pain and with years of practice, I can!

I think you do Richard.......I find itching comes from what leaks when it sits on your skin. I have a ton of facecloths and run one under hot water and wipe the itchy area and it goes away. I also have some clindamycin cream that also seems to take the itch away.

I'm also on duloxetine and 900 of gabapentin. Nothing seems to be working right now. My tunneling is extremely bad

You do get better at enduring pain. And the urge to itch.
