Best Advice For Open And Draining Flares.
Most people have an issue with getting flares to drain. My issue is they keep draining, fill up, and drain again. Or they are just open sores. Soaking makes me worse so that's a no.
It happens in a few spots for me, I have not found anything that works to help close them. It can take weeks or a few months before if finally heals on its own. I used to take clindamycin, but it stopped working for me.

A hydracolloid dressing is similar to a blister patch. I find that they don’t irritate my skin as much as normal bandaids.
What is a hydrocolloid dressing? Where do you get it? My pits just drain continously and I break out from the glue in the tough bandaids.
Mine open and I’d almost rather they stay open because at least they don’t hurt. I hold a swab of apple cider vinegar on the area twice a day to prevent infection and draw out any left over pus. Then I cover it with a hydrocolloid dressing which acts as a second skin. I change it twice a day. I find that if I use a plaster (band aid) it closes and then just fills us again.
