I agree with Bonbon that dieting isn’t for everyone what I found works best for me is exercising once a day shower right after of course and watching what I eat. I think of dieting a new lifestyle for me.

Dieting is not necessary, but I can say I am in remission (no active HS) because I'm on a diet. If HS is what's pushing you over the edge, diet will help possibly. I'm not sure diet works for everyone?

Some people might have food triggers and removing those things helps, but if you don't have a food trigger then I wouldn't worry about it. I don't really seem to have any food triggers so I'm still eating cheese, sweets, etc.

Wow, because I have been struggling with that too. One dermatologist had me spinning in circles trying to figure out what had yeast, dairy, ect. The list was exhausting. So I started back eating those things and see no issues.

Emilie. My Nurse told me that I didn't have to diet because HS is Not from food, it's from something within our bodies. I have been eating Whatever I want, when I want and there is no problem. The problem is being afraid, worrying, anger. This will bring many flares.😀
