Has Anyone Used Cosentyx For HS?
My insurance will no longer pay for Humira. This medication worked well.
Over 3 years. It is the only thing that keeps my HS under control. I rarely have flairs and when I do they do not last more than a couple days and they are not as bad as before I used Humira.
If I understand correctly, the question is "Has anyone used Cosentyx for HS". I was offered Humira 2018 in Sweden, but declined. For the past 4 months I've been on Cosentyx. A month before I changed my diabetes medication to Rybelsus. The last 1 1/2 month I had the worst flare I ever had the past 10 years (my HS went bananas when I entered menopause 11 years ago). When you are on several medications it's difficult to say that one or the other Is causing the problems. I took Cosentyx yesterday and hope that after getting worse, I will get better. If not, I will stop. I'm now living permanently in Slovenia and due to my husband having an extra health insurance for 30 Euro per month, I get all medications for free and faster access to specialists when I need it. (This is for new conditions, not for old ones).
@A myHSteam Member how long have you taken humira, and did it help?
