My wound care nurse recommended plain soap and water. If I'm really concerned about an infection I'll use hibiclens. Then I put Medihoney wound gel over it and cover it with nonabsorbent gauze.

- **Saline Solution**: This is gentle on the skin and can help clean the lesions without causing additional pain. Saline matches the salt concentration of your body, which makes it less irritating than plain water.

These methods help manage the lesions by keeping them clean and reducing the risk of infection. Always follow the advice of a healthcare professional for the best care practices.
