My derm sent me to my surgeon to have this done. It was my first surgery and after 10 years I had 8 cysts that only bled, but consistently, that I had removed. It took almost two hours. All on the front of my groin area. Never had any pain only discomfort from the stitches and when they were taken out. I recommend it strongly!!!! That was a year ago and I've only had two little ones since that have not reaccured. I will not wait for so many the next time. Maybe three or four. Its been heaven not worrying about pads, covers, or bleeding on my clothes and out in public and at the beach AND ALWAYS BEING CLEAN!! Do it. Make sure your surgeon knows HS well and has great reviews. You will not be sorry. ❤️❤️❤️

Surgery went well alot of draining after, healing good my A1c is low and that plays a big part in healing I haven't had any flare up in that area since Surgery Thank God. I ask my Dr about Vitamin D he said as long as my Kidney function was good I could take vitamin D and I don't have any problems with my Kidneys. GOD is so Awesome. I've been reading alot of comments about vitamin D helping HS so I'm going to start using it as soon as I'm able to get out of the house and go to the pharmacy. I pray u have relief from the reoccurring boils after ur surgery sending you love and hugs surgery worked for ME!!!!!

Thanks for this. It's reassuring. I have in my brest near the cleavage. And one in the left armpit. Hopefully surgery will give me a break. Dr said it looks better than his previous surgeries. Thanks
