I diagnosed myself last summer to be fair I have multiple autoimmune diseases and the symptoms are all over the place but this summer was the absolute worst for my HS wow no more exotic dancing for me! lol 😂 but really it was the hottest humid summer ever and it showed me that I am now an arthritic vampire who will not be showing anyone my birthday suit after this summer!

Hey Eddie! Realized at 12 pea size area in my groin. My sis has it and diagnosed at 14 by a military doctor. My diagnosis happed by 28? But progressed worse in my 20s. By the time I found Dr Hazen I was stage 3. CO2 laser surgery most effective. Definitely cut out dairy and nightshades. Plant base helped tremendously with pain and new areas, however the old areas still need surgery. Good to hear from you.

Eddie, I had a couple of cysts on my face when I was 19. The doctor put cortisone shots in them and they disappeared with scarring left behind. I started having trouble in my groin area when I was 28 and was diagnosed by a very smart general M.D. I have fought it tooth and nail. I have it in groin and under breasts. I have taken accutane for 2 months in the beginning, but they pulled me off due to high triglycerides. I have used antibiotics off and on most of my life till that landed me in hospital, I have had numerous incise and drains. I tried Humira and it did help with the h.s., but I then got a side effect of psoriasis on the 🤲 palms of hands and soles of feet. Took Skyrizi for a bit for the psoriasis, but it was not helping. I use VTAMA cream for the psoriasis now and that is working well. The hidradenitis is weakened, but still keeps coming. I use Clindamycin topical. I wash with bare hands and use Remedy tea tree body wash, CLn sports wash, and neem soap. It is an ever going battle. Keep up the good fight 💪.
