I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles. Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) can be incredibly challenging, both physically and emotionally. Here are some steps you can take to manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life:

Home Care Tips:
- Warm Compresses: Applying warm, moist compresses can help promote drainage and alleviate pain.
- Hygiene: Regular washing and using a clean towel to dry yourself can help prevent infections.
- Avoid Shaving: If possible, avoid shaving the affected areas to reduce irritation.

Medical Treatments:
- Topical or Oral Antibiotics: These can treat bacterial infections and prevent recurrence.
- Corticosteroid Injections: These can relieve pain and reduce inflammation in unburst boils.
- Surgical Options: For persistent or severe cases, draining or surgically removing cysts and boils may be necessary.

Emotional Support:
- Talk to a Dermatologist: They can provide medical advice and treatment options tailored to your condition.
- Join Support Groups: Platforms like myHSteam offer a community where you can share your experiences and get advice from others who understand what you're going through.
