- Another member mentioned, โ€œI havenโ€™t seen an improvement. But everyoneโ€™s body reacts differently, so itโ€™s worth a try.โ€

Vitamin D Supplements
- General Benefits: Vitamin D is essential for muscle movement, nerve function, and immune system support. It also helps in calcium absorption for strong bones.
- Types: Vitamin D2 (found in plants, mushrooms, yeast) and Vitamin D3 (found in oily fish and produced by the body during sun exposure).

Omega-3 Fatty Acids
- Anti-Inflammatory Properties: Found in seafood, nuts, seeds, and vegetables.
- No direct evidence that omega-3 supplements improve HS symptoms, but many healthy diets for HS are high in omega-3s.

Dietary Changes
- Ketogenic Diet: Some members found that reducing sugars and carbs helped their HS.
- One member shared, โ€œI am on the keto diet, which seems to help my HS.โ€
- Plant-Based Diet: Eliminating gluten and nightshade vegetables has helped some members.
- A member wrote, โ€œI eliminated gluten and nightshade vegetables and havenโ€™t had HS in two years.โ€

General Advice
- Consultation: Always discuss with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement or dietary change to ensure itโ€™s safe and appropriate for your condition.
