Connected To HS
Hi Really odd question but I have been having HS type lumps/boils/absess coming up, but they are on my bottom, stomach and even back, could it be connected ?Thanks Lisa
Thank you Fatima.
I’m recently diagnosed and I experience lumps, bumps, spots and cysts/abscesses. I experience majorly in my armpits however I’ve recently had behind my ear, in my chin and one in my inner thigh. I personally think mine is linked.
My GP will not refer me to a dermatologist as he’s happy it is HS so I have just been prescribed initial treatment. I am hoping if I don’t get any new issues in the next 2 months (as am on antibiotics) then I will know for certain.
You're welcome Sweetie. Don't let anyone do you like I was done. Be safe and be blessed 😀
Hello Alexis. I would find my own Dermatologist without his referral. HS is progressive and we have no time to play with our GP's. I went a whole year with my PCP and GYN doctors (3 of them) and they gave me creams and said it was boils. Yes, but, what kind of boils. The Dermatologist are educated to the best of their training in HS and I'm glad I found a knowledgeable Dermatologist and I hope you do too. Be careful.
Lisa, I don't know but the Lumps, bumps and abscesses have tunnels underneath. Maybe they all are connected. This is a very good question for your Dermatologist to think about.
