Hidriawear is a compression garments you can wear that has holes in it for air and also to put the pads in for absorption it is expensive and the refill pads are too if your doctor can get insurance to pay for this try it if you Google it you can see what it is and how it works

I understand but I wasent smoking or drink at the age of 11 when this all began, so I don’t believe smoking or drink have anything with hs may make it worse but dosent actually give you the condition. But when I talk I’m not the poshest of people I think I just give them a different vibe to what I am and they just don’t want to deal with me

It sounds like you might be feeling uncertain about your doctor's advice regarding hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Here are some key points to consider when discussing HS with your doctor:

- Preparation: Write down all the points you’d like to discuss in advance. This helps ensure you cover everything important during your visit.
- Mental and Emotional Impact: Share how HS has affected you mentally and emotionally, not just physically.
- Inflammation Understanding: Ask your doctor to help you understand the inflammation inside your body that may be contributing to HS.
- Empathy and Honesty: A good HS doctor should be empathetic and honest about the challenges and potential outcomes of the condition.
- Demand Better Treatments: Always advocate for better treatments and solutions.

If your doctor isn't providing clear or empathetic communication, it might be worth seeking a second opinion from a specialist who understands HS better.
