I have a routine for this that constantly changes with each flair up. I use the large size fabric bandages from walmart that are breathable and stretches. They stay put in many conditions and I have even went swimming and they stood on securely. The goal is to apply them after a shower when the skin is dry. This is very important if you dont want them to come loose. I use absorbent paper towels to suck up any moisture then apply. I also use waterproof medical tape to secure it. Works great

If I had it in the arm pit I would try just non stick sterile gauze and use vet wrap or Coban or something of the sort to hold it in place by wrapping around the shoulder. I am allergic to adhesive so my groin issues have been a challenge to say the least. Hope you feel better
