I’ve lost a lot of weight, gained 7-8 because of a new med and will tell psych nurse practitioner doc about it in two weeks and he’ll probably take me off of it

I do limit sugar and working on continuing to limit carbs and add more protein-

I have almost completely eliminated night shades and the only one I can’t completely eliminate is squash

My hats off to anyone who is able to manage the cravings and alter their diet! It’s definitely a job but one that’s worth it! We’re all in this together! Love yall-

YES it is very restrictive but worth it. I cut out potato, refined sugar and dairy. Also lowered the amount of yeast - no beer or wine - and swapped out to rye bread and tamari instead of soy sauce and yeast free stock cubes. I try to avoid nightshades as much as possible. This has helped me massively. For me the big ones were potato and sugar

Cut our dairy and nightshades and big cut down if refined sugar. A big improvement in flare ups. Currently no lesions. Still trying to lose weight. Swimming and yoga

I try my best to stay away from sugar. I use of a lot natural ingredients as well. Turmeric in everything. I've starting juicing ginger (cold press) and drinking that amd it's helping a lot. Fried fatty foods as well. I'm currently only eating chicken & fish and mash potatoes, nothing heavily seasoned nothing fried. My Dr, believes I'm stage 2 but I've taken care of my skin since I was 12 so my skin doesn't appear to look like stage 2. Everytime I take a shower I apply clindamycin liquid all over & a paste I made using Turmeric whether there's a flare or not. Hope this helps.
