Wondering If Anyone Has A Rash With Their HS?

A myHSteam Member asked a question 💭

I recently had this weird rash act up on my legs and arms, I have been getting treated for it by a allergist but we're kinda stumped on what could be causing it seeing there hasn't been and environment changes or food changes. I was wondering if it could have something to do with HS and if anyone else might or might not get something like this? I have noticed it sometimes flares up going from the cold outside to the heat inside which makes me wonder about sweat glands and HS. I'm not looking for… read more

Yes of course. Had been using a fragrance oil for years. All of a sudden it began to break me out. Now I don’t put anything on my skin besides soap. Not even deodorant and it’s amazing how at the end of the day I don’t stink.

This might not help, but I was put on Humira a few months ago for my HS and it caused drug-induced eczema/psoriasis. My rash is reddish brown (my skin is brown), smooth and shiny, and all over my body. They switched me to Remicade and it’s slowly getting better

Yeah been dealing with HS for over 40 years and I get weird rashes too. I had a bunch of my sweat glands removed in my armpits years ago and it was only a temporary fix now I have open holes that won't stop draining and heat definitely makes me flare up because it's in all the spots where we sweat. I think having HS makes us very susceptible to all kinds of other issues.
